The resin has cured and the slab has been re-levelled — and now its make or break time.
Having light shine through resin doesn’t happen by accident. Depending on the design, we often use a heavily pigmented base layer to create deep, vibrant colour, then build clearer layers over the top.
For this barn door, our customer wanted the light from the room to shine through the resin itself. That meant a single, carefully controlled pour, with pigment kept at just the right level to allow the resin to glow while still holding colour.
So here it is… let there be light.
